RT.REV.DR. MAXWELL SILVA, Auxiliary Bishop visited our college on 10th Oct,2017. While sharing his experience of being a teacher and rector he requested,

Auxiliary Bishop Maxwell Silva was born on Sept. 27,1953, at Willorawatte, in the archdiocese of Colombo. He was ordained a priest on July 25, 1981.

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him as the Auxiliary Bishop of the archdiocese of Colombo on Nov. 28, 2011.
The Auxiliary Bishop obtained a Bachelor Degree and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Science of Education from the University of Kelaniya, as well as a Master of Science in Sociology from the same University.
Since 2001 until present, he is the Rector of St. Thomas College, Kotte in the archdiocese of Colombo.
