Laying of foundation stone took place on 2nd of August at St.Henry’s College. The building is a gift of the Government of India. Shri.A.Natarajan (Consul – General of India , Jaffna) was the chief guest and guests of honour were Hon.Mr.R.Raveendran (Secretary of Education, Cultural Affairs, Sports and Youth Affairs) Mr.Thevamanoharan (DDE,Planning, Zonal Education Office, Valikamam), Mr.S.Sivanandarajah (DEO,Sandilipay) and former rector Rev.Fr.J.A.Jesuthas, Rev.Fr.M.Jesuratnam (Dean,Ilavalai Denar), Rev.Fr.A.Augustin(Paris Priest, Sillalai)   graced the occasion.–
