Most colorful event in history, “The inter house athletic meet 2020” Hon. P.S.M. Charles, the governor of Northern Province graced the occasion being the Chief guest and Mr.P.Ganeshan Divisional Director of Education, Sandilipay division added credit to the event being the special guest, the event was honored by the presence of Revd. Fathers, sisters, principals and teachers from neighboring schools, parents, students and well wishers. The benchmark of the meet was ,almost all the students created an opportunity to express themselves through their given events. Uniqueness of the event was that both St.Henry’s college and Ilavalai Convent MV successfully lowered the respectful college flags jointly. Opening of Class room complex. The classroom complex built with the contribution of People of India was jointly opened by His Excellency Mr.Vinod Jacob, Deputy High Commissioner, India, Hon. Mrs. PS.M.Charles, Governor of Northern Province. Dignitaries from High-commission of India, Consulate of India and Department of Education , parents , staff and students witnessed the opening. Joy of opening came to a fulfillment with a fellowship lunch. PRIZE DAY 2019
PRIZE DAY 2019 St. Henry’s college is hosting its largest ever and glorious Prize Day for the year of 2017 and 2018 in a grand scale. The students are to be called up to receive their prizes in recognition of their efforts and achievements over the course of the last two years. We, the henricians proudly say that we always cherish the past, celebrate the present and create the future with the motto of our Alma Mater that is hard work conquers. Credits goes to our Fr. Rector for administering this college with an outstanding theme of “School like home and home like school” for the last two years making dramatic changes in all spheres and showing colours in all fields. With all my heart I cordially thank all the guests and parents for showing up here today upon our request to honor the artistic, athletic, scholarly, and community-building achievements of our students. Navarathri Festival was celebrated on 28.10.2019
Navarathri Festival was celebrated on 28.10.2019 Mr.N.Navaneethan, Saiva pulavar was the guest speaker on that day. He explained the significance of Navarathri and relationship between spirituality and education. “Naatya Nadakam” was the main event among the cultural programmes which were staged. The winners of the competitions conducted in relation to the Navarathri were presented with valuable prizes. Thanks to Mrs.V.Sivakumaran, teacher in-charge of Hindu Union for her hard work to make this event a meaningful one.
