Laying of Foundation Stone For Classroom Complex Laying of foundation stone took place on 2nd of August at St.Henry’s College. The building is a gift of the Government of India. Henrician Futsal Soccer Festival-2017 The purpose of organizing “Henrician Futsal Soccer festival” was to develop and nurture football in young players. This event had the participation of players Island wide. This was a five – a –side football match with full of entertainment and fun. This event gave the participants an opportunity to realize and master their skills at the shorter form of the greatest game of the world. The FIFA futsal rules were followed in this tournament. Opening of “CANADA HOUSE”
Opening of “CANADA HOUSE” A massive building, “CANADA HOUSE” was blessed and opened for the St.Joseph’s Boys’ Hostel by Rt. Rev.Dr. Justin B.Gnanapragasam the bishop of Jaffna on 12th of July 2017. The building gives shelter for 100 boys from different parts of the country. The Canada House was funded by the OBA Canada and the construction of the building took place under the guidance of Rev.Fr.J.A.Jesuthas Rector of St.Henry’s College.
